Lightweight, hydrating, and anti-aging, Radiant Serum exfoliates the skin gently and brightens the overall tone of your skin. Radiant Serum leaves the skin silky smooth, while it reduces the appearance of fine lines, protects against free radical damage, and prevents acne by decreasing dead skin buildup.

All skin types. Great for mild to moderate acne.

Mandelic Acid: Derived from almonds, this larger AHA gently helps to diminish surface cells to reduce build up.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38: Often referred to as a “wrinkle-filling” peptide. Peptides such as this are found in collagen VI and laminins, and they help to smooth wrinkles from the inside by stimulating macromolecule production in the DEJ.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5: Peptide that stimulates collagen synthesis and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyroyl Hydroxythreonine: Anti-aging peptide cocktail that stimulates the proteins of the dermal-epidermal junction (DEJ) including laminin, collagen, integrin and provides strength.

Comfrey: An herb. The content of allantoin and mucilages provides soothing, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Chamomile: Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

After cleansing, apply to face, neck, and décolleté, followed by additional serums and moisturizers. Can be used once a day preferably at night. Start using 2–3 times a week, slowly increasing until it is part of your daily regimen.

I noticed that my skin has some texture after starting this product, is that normal?
Yes, Radiant Serum contains an alpha hydroxy acid named Mandelic Acid, which stimulates cellular turnover. When you first begin using this acid, it may take 2-4 weeks for your skin to adjust, but it usually resolves itself within two weeks with texture and skin tone improving.

My esthetician recommended Radiant Serum for my acne but I noticed it is not in the Acne line, was she incorrect?
No, there are several GlyMed products that are multifunctional and can be categorized under several subcategories, but to maintain consistency, we choose one. Radiant Serum contains Mandelic Acid, which can be beneficial for acne because it sloughs off dead skin cells that may be lying over and blocking pores, thus resulting in a buildup within the pores, making it a great option for acne.

My skin became red and irritated when I applied this product. Am I allergic?
These reactions can be common to individuals when they first start using professional products, especially if they’re sensitive. The skin is adjusting to the activity of the product. If it is excessive you may want to limit use to once every other day or every third day for the first two weeks to allow your skin to adjust. Remember to always wear your GlyMed Plus sunscreen when using any alpha hydroxy acids.

Is this product safe for expecting or nursing mothers?
It is safe to use Radiant Serum during pregnancy. During this time, however, your skin is more susceptible to sun exposure, and you should always wear GlyMed Plus sunscreen when outdoors.
